In honor of Veterans Day, our 3rd Grade students walked to Loy Blake Park to visit the Military Memorial. Students heard from some of our local veterans and were able to gain an appreciation of the sacrifices of those who serve in our military. Thank you, Veterans!

Happy Halloween from West Point Elementary! Thank you for braving the cold to come watch our parade. Our plan was to have each grade level perform a Halloween dance as we moved around the track. We are sorry the music and speakers didn't work as planned. We have videoed each grade level performing their song so you can still enjoy their performances. These links are being emailed to our families and will be live through Sunday, November 10. Enjoy and have a safe Halloween!

Happy last week of October! We know our students are very excited for Halloween. Please see the information in our newsletter about our "Experience the Magic" Halloween Parade. Also, please remember that there is no school this Friday, November 1 for our Teacher Professional Day.
