
Hope Squad is collecting items to help create victim relief kits that officers can take with them when responding to incidents where children have been affected. These kits have the ability to ease the trauma that victimization can have on a child .
We are in need of crayons, coloring books, small fidgets, and hygiene/feminine hygiene products.
Donations need to be new and unopened.
Donations can be dropped off in the counseling center now through March 3rd.

Next week starting February 24th is Davis High unity week.
Monday is Super hero day, dress like your favorite super hero
Tuesday is Davis Day at Rush Fun Plex join us at rush in Syracuse from 7-9 pm where unlimited activity passes will be discounted for Davis High students. $12 gets you a two hour unlimited activity pass.
Wednesday we will have games in the commons at lunch
Thursday is the unity assembly, join us in the gym where unified basketball will take on the boys and girls basketball teams in a fun fill game of basketball.
Friday we will have just dance in the commons at lunch.

Hey DAVIS, help us spread a little Valentines Joy. For VALENTINES, The SERVICE CLUBS will have a table set up during lunch
on February 12th and 13th for students to send a Valentines card to the Whisper Cove and Bear Creek Villas, Assisted Living Homes here in Kaysville. Stop by the table in the Commons area during lunch on those days! Make a Valentine for Seniors in assisted

It’s Sweethearts week!
On Thursday February 6, Davis high students, Basketball team members, and Jr. Jazz players will have a basketball showdown! If you want to show off your basketball talent, Sign up from a QR code on flyers in the halls!
On Friday, February 7, we will have food trucks! get waffles or pizza calzones on the point!
Saturday, February 8, is the dance from 7-9 pm. tickets will be posted soon! The theme is “Love is timeless”! Reminder that this dance is Davis students only and no dance contracts will be accepted.

Monday, February 3rd, is Parent Teacher Conference from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
From 3:00-5:00 p.m. will be scheduled appointments in classroom.
From 5:30-7:00 p.m. will be in the commons.

Congratulations to our Davis High Academic Olympiad team! They took third overall out of 26 high schools, 1st place as a team in Math and 3rd place as a team in Science and received several awards for individual students. Holden Dao took first place out of 234 students in math and Hayden Baughman took second place in math.

Congratulations to the cheer team taking 3rd overall in state with their flawless performances in all show, dance, and cheer! Madeline Dean won the state jump competition! Leah Rawlings, Madeline Dean, and Mini Walker all made the Allstate cheer team! Thank you for all of you that came out to support the cheer team! DHS boys' lacrosse team is holding a pickleball fundraiser on Saturday, February 1st at the Picklr in Kaysville! It is league style play so you won’t need a partner and you’ll be playing with players of your skill level. The tournament will start at 4pm and is $25.00 for non-Davis students and $5.00 for Davis students. See a boys' lacrosse player or Mrs. Bunch with any questions.

PROJECT WINTER WARMTH!
For the Month of January, the Davis High service clubs are sponsoring and gathering warm supplies to donate to our own Teen Center and Local Shelters. Please bring anything used or new to donate. This includes coats, scarves, hats, blankets as well as socks and gloves. If you received a new blanket for Christmas, consider donating one of your old ones!
There are Large Bins located in the 2200 hall or the 1400 hall to put these items in. There will also be a Blanket Tying activity for ALL NHS, KEY CLUB, and INTERACT Club members on Jan. 21, 2025 during lunch. Please help us provide warm supplies for those in need! Donation drop offs will be available through January 31st!
