Second Turf Field Opportunity
Join us in making a game-changing difference for our students and community!
We're excited to embark on a transformative project that will provide our students, who are involved in many sports and activities, the opportunity to practice and play on a safe and reliable surface.
The location for this much-needed turf field is our existing east field, which unfortunately hasn't been playable since Farmington High opened its doors almost 6 years ago. Factors such as the most recent drought, rodent infestations, poor soil conditions, and water retention have made the east field unsafe for our students to use.
As a result, we've been forced to utilize our turf stadium field for all practices and games. While this has been a temporary solution, it has placed a significant strain on our main field, leading to scheduling conflicts and forcing teams and performance groups to practice at inconvenient hours, both early in the morning and late at night.
By establishing a new turf game field on the east side, we will not only provide our students with a safe and dependable playing surface but also significantly reduce ongoing maintenance costs and upkeep.

This project, with a budget of just under two million dollars, represents a long-term solution that will benefit our marching band, color guard, drill team, cheerleaders, boys' and girls' lacrosse, boys' and girls' soccer, football team, PE classes, and local community teams alike. Your support is vital in making this vision a reality. Together, we can create a lasting legacy that ensures our students have the resources they need to excel in their sports and activities.
