Concurrent Enrollment courses provide an opportunity for students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time while staying on the high school campus and taking the courses from the high school teachers.
Many students begin CE without fully understanding the implications of their choices. Watch the CE video WSU Concurrent Enrollment: Your Guide to Success. It will provide a better understanding of the CE program and how it will affect future goals.

Status Switch
Hey Seniors!
Congratulations on making it this far in your education! This is an exciting school year full of many decisions impacting where you will be in the future.
If you have taken ANY Concurrent Enrollment (CE) courses through Weber State, it is important for you to complete the STATUS SWITCH…even if you do not intend to attend WSU as a full-time student.
Here are a few reasons why:
· If you have been working toward any certificates or degrees (ie. Certificate of Completion, Certificate of Proficiency, AS or AA) through CE, you must complete the STATUS SWITCH.
· You are already a WSU student and don’t need to reapply to WSU! But academic scholarships will only be offered if you complete the STATUS SWITCH. It switches you from being a high school student in CE courses to being degree seeking and eligible for Financial Aid and scholarships for Fall 2023. (More information about Financial Aid and Scholarships can be found at this website.)
· Completing the STATUS SWITCH before December 1st will give you priority access to academic scholarships and specialized scholarships at WSU. It is a free and easy way to get an offer from WSU. You never know…you might decide WSU is a good option for you!
· Students taking at least 12 credit hours of ANY WSU CE can qualify for the WSU EDGE scholarship! Up to $8,000 in scholarship money is available! Get more information at weber.edu/concurrentenrollmentedge · It took you longer to read this than it will take to complete the STATUS SWITCH. But if you need help, see the attached information sheet or talk to your high school counseling office today!
