Attention Students!  If you have a Cumulative GPA of 3.80 or greater and want to improve in the areas of service and leadership, consider joining National Honor Society.

Membership in the National Honor Society is a recognition of strength in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. If you meet all the qualifications and have a desire to become a member of the National Honor Society, complete the application.
The four qualifications are:

1. Scholarship – a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.800 or higher (do not round up a 3.79 GPA)

2. Service – at least 10 hours of community service rendered within the previous 12 months (this must be service rendered outside of your immediate family)

3. Leadership – involvement in at least two activities which strengthen leadership skills (sports, religious, civic, community)

4. Character – demonstrated in citizenship grades. No U grades and no more than one N grade 

You must be in attendance at FHS for at least one semester to be admitted and be in the club for at least 2 semesters to receive recognition at graduation.

Application are open at the following times:

In the Fall for Juniors and Seniors only usually from mid August to early September

In the Winter for Sophomores and Juniors usually early to late January

Applications will only be accepted while applications are open due to the the need for a faculty council to approve application. The Faculty Council will inform you of your membership status at the end of each application period.
