Section I: Clubs

A. School Sponsored Curricular Club - Any club that will receive an assigned advisor related to the school's academic offerings. Only school sponsored clubs may make announcements over the school P.A. and post information in the building regarding club-related events.

B. Student Sponsored Non-Curricular Club: Any club organized and run by students based on student interests that do not violate Davis School District policies or guidelines. These clubs may advertise only in pre-approved destinations throughout the school.

Section II: Applications for Clubs

A. Application deadline is September 20th.  Any application submitted after this date will not be considered for approval for the current school year.

B. Any group of Farmington High School Students desiring to organize a club for a specific purpose or activity MUST meet all the Davis School District Policy 5S-202 Authorization of Student Clubs and Organizations found in the Davis School District Policy Manual. The application for club acceptance will include but is not limited to the following:

      1. The club/organization’s stated purposes

      2. A club president or a responsible person for communication purpose.  

      3.Club Advisor’s name.  All advisors must be a Certified Faculty member of Farmington High and attend all club activities and meetings.

      4. Clubs must maintain a minimum of three members to be viable     

      5. ALL club participants in every club must have a parental permission form signed to participate.                                 

C. All applications will be reviewed for approval by the FHS Administration.
